Insangel has been actively promoting/booking the 'grass roots' level of the north-east music scene since 1996 and doing so 'full time' since 2001 (so coming up to 10 years), It's not always easy but it's a passion. (you may remember shows at Rosie Malone's Basement, The Archer and the.gallery - good times!)

My most likely response will be to book you in for a 'showcase night' (if I'm not familiar with you) which are held weekly at The Three Tuns in Gateshead (It's a great night!) so email me, phil@insangel.co.uk and I'll do my own research. I'm 90% only booking bands I believe will attract a local following.
However, I will make exceptions for bands that appeal to me or who get results of people to the shows to see them. I'm happy to be 'out of pocket' for a great night and to reward and look after the bands that have that special something or who are really nice people overall - there's nothing worse than bad attitudes.
